Hi it's me

My 20 yr. old is going to the beach for the summer.  I am going to miss her.  I feel like I will not be sending her off with a good foundation.  Because I am so self centered her life has been focused on me not her.  I have missed many opportunities to interact with her but have let my pride get in the way.  I don't know what to do.  I have been depressed all my adolescent and adult life and although I am on meds I do not take them consistently.
