This is a blog about my struggle with depression. I am not a doctor, and if you are struggling with depression, please find a good doctor to help you with your fight. Also, since I am not a doctor, if you ever find something on this blog that does not sound right to you, I urge you to consult your doctor or do some research of your own. I have two goals for this blog. First, I hope to convey the struggles that I went through when I was depressed and how I was able to beat my depression. I was depressed for around five years. I still have days for which I am "blue," but overall I am pretty happy. Second, I am writing a book in which I am exploring what happened to me--how did I become depressed--and, how did I get better. For the book I am doing a lot of research. When I find something that I think you might find interesting, I will share.
