I have been cooped up in the house for a several days now. Going around a sharp corner, at the top of a steep hill, last week I slammed into the back of a mail truck. Luckily I was going fairly slow. This means that my bike has taken up residence at the bike shop since last Friday. Normally, I would either go for a walk or go to the gym. But, a death in my wife's family and a sporting event that I was required to watch (well, really wanted to watch) allowed me very little time for these activities. My dog loves walks.

Today was beautiful, sunny and in the mid-30s, so I decided to take him for an extra long walk today. It did me some good. Sun on the face and heart pumping. It was good for me and the dog.
